I love being a Southern girl. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I was steeped in a culture rich with the likes of Tennessee William’s histrionic women. Although we Southern women are known for our manners and hospitality, we are mostly full of piss and vinegar and we’re tough as anything. Growing up down South was the perfect setting for a young actress. I decided I wanted to act at the age of 5, and since then I haven’t looked back. I spent my summers at Atlanta’s Alliance Theater camp, and in high school, I was heavily involved in my school’s theater company (The Galloway School). I won several awards and titles as our company competed throughout the state of Georgia. When I was 18, I decided to make the move up North to attend the New School University. I’ve been exploring the world ever since. At the age of 20, I moved to Europe for fifteen months to study acting at a classical conservatory in London and film in Spain, where I became fluent in Spanish. Since leaving Atlanta, I have lived in Manhattan, Brooklyn, London, Cologne, Limoges,Alicante, and Chicago. If I could act and travel at the same time, I’d be happy as a clam! When I’m not acting, I enjoy cooking, yoga, painting, writing and camping. You can often find me trekking the woods or basking in the sunshine.
